Fundraising  (Ocober 29 - November 13, 2018)
Each fall the Global Languages Department offers an opportunity to fund raise. The dollars we raise are the only source of money for our clubs and honor societies.   ALL students benefit from these organizations and on-going events in (i.e. Day of the Dead and Espa
ñolathon,) and out of the classroom (Festival of Nations); therefore, all students are encouraged to participate in the fundraiser.  Ten percent (10%) of the proceeds are put into the club accounts to support our activities. All additional earnings are put in the student’s individual Spanish Club/French account.  Individual account funds may be used to pay for participation fees for club and honor society events, to purchase supplemental materials, to buy club or honor society t-shirts, to help offset the cost of a trip to Concordia Language Villages or a future departmental trip to a French-speaking (France 2019)  or Spanish-speaking country (summer 2020).

We offer a variety of high quality products from fruit to gourmet soups and popcorn.  If you would like to participate in the fundraiser and have not been contacted by a student enrolled in French or Spanish, please contact Cindy Davis at:  cdavis@hastings.k12.mn.us.  Products will arrive at the High School on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
