We encourage you to type the information on to this document, print it out, get the necessary signatures, and email Ms. Morrison or Ms. Bagwill.  Remember, 10 hours are due each quarter (see the school calendar for end of quarter dates). What counts as service? Volunteer hours do not count if you are getting paid.  If the work is in any way associated with another HHS activity, it can not be used.  This includes, but is not limited to: Youth First Planning Council, Youth First, language honor societies, YIG, etc. When in doubt, send Ms. Morrison or Ms. Bagwill an email and they can tell you if the service "counts" for the NHS hour requirement.  You can accumulate 25 hours over the summer.  Be detailed in your description of service and include contact information. We do random calls throughout the semester to verify the hours are in accordance with NHS standards.
