CONGRATULATIONS ON A GREAT SEASON to the RAIDERS MARCHING BAND.  GOOD LUCK as they compete at US Bank Stadium tomorrow in the Youth in Music MN State Championships. 
Session 1 begins at 7:30am with Hastings competing at noon.  Awards are at 1:00pm for our class.  Finals begin at 7:15pm.  GO RAIDERS!

HHS Choir Program MATTRESS SALE  Sunday, October 13th from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. in the HHS Commons.  This fundraiser helps pay for nationally renowned guest clinicians, updated instruments, better technology, and additional needs for our students.

ASTRONOMY CLUB will be having our first meeting Monday in A109.  We will be planning what we want to see on our first stargazing night.  Treats will be provided!  Don’t be afraid to try it out as this is our first meeting and new members are always welcome!

Come join us at NINTENDO CLUB on Friday, Oct. 11, after school until 3:30 in room A107 for our Mariokart 8 Tournament! Snacks will be provided.  Everyone is welcome!

CULINARY CLUB - Do you enjoy cooking with friends?  Are you hungry after school?  Are you looking for a fun to way to get involved at HHS?  The Culinary Club will be meeting on Monday, October 14th from 2:30-3:30 in Room C320.  We will be making warm apple crisp topped with vanilla ice cream.  There is a $20 fee to join culinary club.  Please see Mrs. Millhollin if you have any questions. 


CONGRATULATIONS to the BOYS and GIRLS  XC Teams for placing 2nd in the Simley Invitational.  Linnea Urban was the Individual champion in the girls’ race.  The boys were led by Nolan Myers, Luke Harris, Tyler Bushinski and Tommy Siebenaler.   GO RAIDERS!

CONGRATULATIONS to these 6 girls on competing at TENNIS  INDIVIDUAL SECTIONS: Captain Anri Sakakibara, Claire Keller (8th grade), Captain Erika Henrichs, Skylar Tjomsland, Senior Captain Amy Roach, and Mya Green.
Anri Sakakibara was the second seed and won three rounds yesterday to get into the semi-finals Tuesday!  GO RAIDERS!

ATTENTION ALL GYMNASTS  - Please join us for a preseason informational meeting, Monday, October 14, at 6:30, in the High School Media Center.  This is open to 7 thru 12 grade gymnasts.  Questions, please contact Jeanne Kasel @ 612-834-8462 or kaz2132@msn.com.

We are having a parent informational meeting for the ALPINE SKI TEAM on Monday 10/14 @ 6:30 PM.  The meeting will take place at HHS in the lecture hall.  I’m unfamiliar with how announcements are handled, but my hope is we can let students know this week and maybe a reminder on Monday.  The parents/students can be directed to the Alpine website for any further information.
