Tonight at 7:27pm is the Young Life Christmas Club and the annual Mr. Christmas Tree competition! Come dressed up in your favorite ugly Christmas sweater ready to celebrate the holidays at the last club of the season! See you Monday for the best night of the week at the Young Life barn!

Finally, the most anticipated film of 2017 is almost here. Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, hits theaters this Friday. This Wednesday and Thursday we will be hosting a Star Wars Recap day. Where we will explain the entire saga for anyone who comes, so you don't have to spend 15+ hours watching the entire saga to prepare for The Last Jedi. If you are interested, the club will be in room B317 right after school on Wednesday and Thursday. We hope to see you there! Have a great week everyone. May the Force be With You.

All students in Spanish are invited to sign up for the next Spanish Club event which will take place Tuesday, December 19th from 2:45-4:15. Sign up in the Spanish Classrooms December 11-14. We will be learning about Christmas in Guatemala as we prepare and eat traditional food with our friend Florencia from Guatemala, and play fun holiday games. Hope to see you there!

We have a meeting today after school in the Multi-Purpose room and will be hearing from the director of our Winter show and find out what it is and when auditions are. Also, we will be discussing theatre news on what is happening on Broadway and what shows are happening in the Twin Cities area! Hope to see you there! Have a Happy Holidays!

2nd Semester parking passes are now on sale.  Please see Ms. Kasel at the student greeter desk between 7:15 and 1:30 daily.  Contracts must be completed with online payments, cash or check attached.  Get a jump on the New Year. :)

HOLIDAY COIN DRIVE THIS WEEK!  All proceeds go toward adopting families through the Adopt a Family program with Hastings Family Service. We currently have ELEVEN large families to shop for! Help us give greatly this year through engaging your students in the coin drive competition starting next week! The top two classes will receive a pizza party before Christmas break!

  • Coin Drive cans will be delivered to 4th hour classrooms during first hour on Monday, December 11th. The competition will be held between 4th hour classes.
  • Cans will be collected Friday, December 15th during first hour. Remind your students they will need to have all of their money in Friday morning first thing!

This is a great way to give big together! Pennies + coins + $$ = Christmas presents under the tree for deserving families! Get your students involved and pass on the spirit of the holiday season!

Seniors, Seniors, Seniors – December 22nd is the last day you can buy an All Night Grad Party ticket in the Student Office.  The tickets are currently on sale for $50.00 which is ½ price from the final cost on graduation night.  If you would rather pay by credit card go online to Payschools.

New patriotic Hastings hoodies will be on sale during lunch hours until our holiday break. All proceeds made from selling the hoodies will go towards the Military Support Group buy holiday gifts for veterans at the Hastings Veteran’s Home. Hoodies will be $30. With that $30 purchase, you are making $5 donation. Money for the hoodies must be paid prior to the order being placed. So have your money ready when you come by to order. Support our local veterans and get a great hoodie in the process.

Join us for a fundraiser to support Hastings All Night Grad Party, TONIGHT between 5:00pm and 8:00pm at the Hastings Chipotle.  Make sure to bring in the flyer, show on your phone, or tell the cashier. 50% of all proceeds will be donated to the Hastings All Night Grad Party.
