Free to all Teens.  APPRECIATING STRESS & MOVING FORWARD TOWARDS EMPOWERMENT.  The United Way of Hastings will present the next Life 101 workshop for teens and young adults this Wednesday, Sept 19th, from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m., in the Lecture Hall at Hastings High School. This is free to attend and features UWH YES Team member and HHS graduate Morgan Johnson presenting, along with Dane Jorento from Allina Health.  Please consider attending – all you need to do is show up.

MORNING BIBLE STUDY - Due to a morning scheduling conflict, Bible Study is cancelled for this week Thursday 9-20.  We will pick up where we left off next week 9-27.  All are welcome.

ALL STUDENTS – FEMINISM CLUB will hold its first meeting after school on Thursday, 9/20 in C227.  Feminism Club works to raise awareness about women’s rights issues. We partake in many activities such as hosting guest speakers, completing service projects, raising funds for Girl Up, watching videos related to feminism, reading articles/essays, and discussing current events. At our first meeting, we will work on plans for a presentation on sex trafficking.

The HASTINGS ROBOTICS FTC season kicks off Tuesday September 18, 2018, at Hastings Middle School in Room 242.  The team will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45-4:45 PM.  Roster spots are open to all High School students looking to design, create, and program a robot to tackle this year’s challenge, Rover Ruckus.  The contact person is Mr. Matt Bruns at Hastings Middle School.
