Our School

Hastings High School is a student-centered environment, a bridge connecting students to other students, and students to teachers, staff and administrators.  Hastings High School has a strong connection to the community and reflects its unique heritage and tradition of progress.

Testing Day is March 7th

We will be conducting a single day of testing on March 7th in order to minimize disruptions to our classes over multiple days. On March 7th, the junior class will be in school participating in either the ACT, Accuplacer, or ASVAB test. The sophomore class will be in school completing their MCA Reading assessment.

Seniors and freshmen will have an e-learning day and will not report to the building. Here is a look at a glance for the day:

12th Grade - E-Learning day from home
9th Grade - E-Learning day from home

11th Grade - Report to school at regular time for ACT/ACCUPLACER/ASVAB. Once testing sessions have concluded, 11th graders may leave school for the day. They are also welcome to attend an afternoon presentation in the auditorium centered around combating substance use.
**Note: You will be receiving an email from Mrs. Geib regarding your specific test.  Please make sure you find that email as it will contain details regarding your test requirements.

10th Grade - Report to school at regular time for the MCA Reading - Bring Chromebooks.  Once testing sessions have concluded, 10th graders will be provided lunch and then will move into the auditorium for a presentation centered around combating substance use.  Their day will end at the regular time.
