Knowledge Bowl is best thought of as "Group Jeopardy". Teams of four or five members answer a series of broad based knowledge questions on a variety of subject matters. It could be from core classes or even pop culture. We play in large tournaments of between 30 and 40 teams, and there is a game show type feel with buzzers and scoring in each round. Our season lasts from Halloween to Mid- March. We meet for practices twice a week on Tuesday and Friday, after school from 2:45-3:45 p.m. in the 2C pod. We go to two or three stand-alone tournaments in the metro area. We play a 3 game cumulative competition, and if we do well, there is a playoff.
Meeting Days/Time:
Tuesdays and Fridays 2:35-3:35.
