Description:
Acappella is an auditioned ensemble of 12-14 singers in grades 10-12 who perform acappella arrangements of modern/contemporary music. Students in acappella must also be enrolled in a curricular choir during the school day. Vocal Percussion is an added element of the ensemble. The ensemble performs at choir concerts as well as at events within the community and rehearses two times a week before school. Auditions take place in the early fall of each school year.
Meeting Days/Time:
Rehearse twice a week before school.
Eligibility & How To Sign-up:
Open to students enrolled in curricular choirs. Fall auditions are in the first full week of school. $150 participation fee.
