Description:
Yearbook is different from a traditional club in that you register to take this yearlong publication course. Students participate in the production of the school yearbook. Students will write and fit copy, captions, headlines, sell advertisements, and plan marketing. Students are required to learn the basics of layout design and photography. Deadlines set by the publishing company are rigid, and, as such, students may find working under deadlines challenging. After school, work is required due to the nature of photographing events outside of school. Prerequisites include proficiency in computer use and strong writing skills. Digital photography and manipulation are helpful but not required.
Meeting Days/Time:
Meets each day during the 5th and 6th hours.
Eligibility & How To Sign-up:
Must be enrolled in the Yearbook course.
