Description:
Yearbook is different from a traditional club in that you register to take this year-long publication course. Students participate in producing the school yearbook. Students will write and fit copy, captions, and headlines; sell advertisements; and plan marketing. Students are required to learn the basics of layout design and photography. Deadlines set by the publishing company are rigid, and, as such, students may find working under deadlines challenging. After school, work is required due to the nature of photographing events outside of school. Prerequisites include proficiency in computer use and strong writing skills. Digital photography and manipulation are helpful but not required.

Meets each day during the 5th hour
Eligibility & How to Sign Up:
Must be enrolled in the Yearbook course.
