Friday, April 25th  - A Day

  • 7th & 8th grade Spring Fling is tonight!  The dance will go from 6:30-8pm and is $8 to get in.  See you there!

  • Congratulations to Bryce Sanville. He is the staff Raider Recognition ticket winner. Bryce, enjoy that prime parking space for next week!

Thursday, April 24th - B Day

  • Congratulations to the following 7th grade band students who were selected to participate in the SEMYO Honor Band.

  • Congratulations to the 6th grade band students who were selected to participate in the SEMBDA Honor Band.

  • Tonight in our HMS Gym, we will have our HMS Jazz Night from 7-8pm.

  • 5th and 6th Grade students who did not finish your reading or math MCAS, you will receive a pass during your 5th hour class to finish your test today, starting at 1 pm in the cafeteria.

  • The cafeteria will be used from 1-2:30 today for MCA make ups. Students will not be allowed to use the cafeteria as a hallway to get to their tech or art classes. Please use a different route to get to Mrs. Berg and Mr. Cernohous’s classes.

  • Writing Club is happening today after school in Ms. Schumacher’s room! We will be talking about the Young Author’s Conference and our Spring Story Showcase. Hope to see you there!

  • Shout out to our HMS Boys Tennis team. They won their first match against St Thomas yesterday! Great job guys!

  • Tomorrow is the Spring Fling dance for 7th & 8th graders. We hope to see many of you there! 7th & 8th grade teacher, please remember to go through the Spring Fling information & expectations slide show today in advisory.

Wednesday, April 23rd - A Day

  • National Administrative Professional Day - Mrs. Kirsch, Mrs. Tutewhol, Mrs. Gust, in the Main Office and Mrs. Marsh and Mrs. McAlpin in the Wellness Center. 

  • Reminder to the 5th graders in Track. You will still have practice today. Please meet at the track as usual.

  • Congratulations to our talented 7th-grade Artists! We’re proud to celebrate the students whose artwork has been selected for the Minnesota Youth Art Month Exhibition.

Tuesday, April 22nd - B Day

  • Earth Day

  • Thank you to all the 6th and 7th graders who applied to be a WEB leader next year.   We had a lot of amazing applications and our decision was very difficult to make.  Please check your email today after 3:30 to see the results.  

  • 7th & 8th Grade Spring Fling is Friday! The dance will be in the HMS cafeteria from 6:30-8pm.  The cost is $8. There will be concessions and a lot of other fun items to purchase if you’d like. DJay Entertainment will be here with all the best music and lights to help make the dance one you won’t want to miss.

  • All students reminder that we are not allowed to have candy in class. Especially Blue Push Pops!

  • Reminder: Math MCAs will take place again tomorrow..
    We will follow the same schedule as we did for the Reading MCAs.
    Please remember to bring the following on both days:

  • A fully charged Chromebook

  • A book to read

  • Markers or colored pencils

  • Wired headphones (corded)

  • And most importantly, a positive attitude!
