Wednesday, March 4th - B Day

  • Attention Knowledge Bowlers - Our Staff versus Student and end of the season party is tomorrow!

  • FCA is meeting this Friday at 7:10 am in Mrs. Maier’s kitchen which is room 215.  Contact Mr. Black or Mrs. Maier with questions.

  • Grace will be running trivia at lunch today. Make sure one person from your table brings a Chromebook to your lunch table.

  • Teachers and students, please open your Gmail today during advisory to vote for the two Raider Nation T-shirt designs you like best. The deadline to submit is March 9th at 1:00pm. The winner will be announced on March 10th.

  • Any 7th or 8th grade girls interested in playing golf this spring, please reach out to Coach Colvin at jcolvin@isd200.org. The opportunity for middle school athletes to participate at the high school level is reserved to girls with golfing experience. The expectation for middle schoolers electing to try out is the ability to shoot a score comparable to existing JV and Varsity golfers. Novice golfers can join the team beginning in 9th grade. Spring registration is underway. Reach out with any questions.

Tuesday, March 3rd - A Day

  • Attention Knowledge Bowlers - Our Staff versus Student and end of the season party is this Thursday.

  • The book Ms. Cirillo recommends is very popular amongst middle school students. It is a thoughtful, charming, and funny true story about growing up and gathering the courage to face — and conquer — fears.

  • One more day before the big vote for the next T-shirt design at HMS. That email will arrive tomorrow just before advisory. 

  • 8th grade DC kids, reminder of our 7:00 AM, yes, AM, meeting this Wed in the HMS auditorium to go over the trip and how to sign up for hotel roommates. Contact Mr. Hanson with any questions.

  • Students, thank you for submitting your t-shirt designs earlier this winter! T-Shirt Design contest voting will happen this week in advisory on Wednesday. Watch for the email in your Gmail account.

  • Ms. Cirillo recommends a book that is a graphic novel and a memoir about the author’s childhood struggles with severe anxiety.

  • Hastings Middle School, we wanted to take a moment to recognize our Raiders for being safe, respectful, and responsible this year. So far this, we know of 8,710 Raider Recognition tickets that have been recorded. That is absolutely incredible!!!!
