Outdoor Club kids–permission slips for the upcoming bike trip are due back to Mr. Shemon or Kreuser by Monday @ 2:35. No slip, no trip!

Don’t forget that Mrs. Gullicks will be hosting the first Future Teacher Meeting on Monday, October 5th at 2:45pm.  Come and learn how you can make a difference with elementary students and teachers this year!  This club is only open to 7th and 8th grade students

Thursday, October 1st - A Day

The HMS Cross Country team had a very slippery and muddy meet yesterday in Mahtomedi. After school today we will meet in the wrestling room.

The HMS Outdoor Club kids went to Cottage Grove Ravine yesterday and slayed the fish! Over 40 fish were caught in over an hour.

Outdoor Club Announcement– there will be another meeting for our upcoming bike trip TODAY after school in Mr. Shemon’s room (140). Permission slips will be handed out for the trip. No slip, no trip! 

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will meet tomorrow morning at 7:10 am in room 213.

If you are creative and want to make an impact at HMS, apply for Student Council! Applications are due on October 8th. You can pick up an application in the wellness center, media center, Mrs. Fravel’s classroom, or Mrs. Vedders classroom. Please contact Mrs. Fravel or Mrs. Vedders for more information.

Writing Club is happening today after school in Ms. Schumacher’s room. Anyone is welcome to join and check it out, even if you weren’t able to come the first time! We will meet in room 205 from 2:45-3:30 today. Hope to see you there!

If you enjoy working with youth, want to explore the profession of teaching or just looking for a great way to get involved at HMS, then the Future Teacher Club is for you!

Staff: If you have any lost and found items in your area, please bring them to the lost and found by the gym as soon as possible.

• For anyone that has checked out HMS media center books, Please get them returned. We have 4 more school days to get them in. If you cannot find a book, please look again. Check your backpack, classrooms, locker, and at home. Any questions, please swing by the media center.
