The Dakota County Crisis Response Unit (CRU) provides 24-hour phone and face-to-face crisis intervention and consultation. The primary goal of the Crisis Response Unit is to assist in stabilizing the immediate crisis, ensure safety for the client, the family and/or the community, and assist with referrals to appropriate county or other agency staff as necessary.

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.

Crisis Text Line is here for any crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor receives the text and responds, all from our secure online platform. The volunteer Crisis Counselor will help you move from a hot moment to a cool moment.
