Mr. Strain is a valued member of the Hastings High School community, teaching both Honors Algebra 2 and Algebra 2 Essentials with dedication and care. He has a remarkable ability to meet students where they are, challenging advanced learners to reach new heights while patiently supporting those who may be struggling. His calm demeanor creates a steady, reassuring presence in the classroom, helping students build both confidence and skills. Beyond academics, Mr. Strain serves as our varsity football coach, where he continues to model leadership, integrity, and commitment. He is a role model not only for his athletes, but for all students, colleagues, and parents who are fortunate to work alongside him.
